Ever since Terra James was a small child she loved beauty- people, fashion, photography, and art of any kind!  Her mother was always artistic and creative encouraging Terra to try new arts and crafts.  Growing up in the San Francisco Bay Area Terra was surrounded by the arts.  In High School Terra won first place awards for her watercolor and oil paintings.  It was also in High School that Terra took an interest in photography, hanging beautiful images of models, art and nature, in her room. Terra would study the way the light touched their faces. Especially enjoying the creative aspects of photography.  This led Terra into taking a wide range of photography courses, as Terra wanted to be a part of creating beauty and creativity with beauty.   She also became involved in print and runway modeling....this introduced Terra to the love of make-up! Terra wanted to turn ordinary make-up into extraordinary make-up!  That meant searching for the best training possible, which lead her to the best of the best….the Make-up Designory in New York City where she learned not only make-up application but also skincare and hair styling.  Terra had the most wonderful training and mentors possible. Terra loves famed make-up artist Kevyn Aucoin's quote "There's no rules when it comes to make-up,  just a common sense".  Terra's talent combined with the training immediately took her to many amazing career opportunities.  Terra is excited and very passionate about make-up artistry of all types, challenges and occasions. 

Terra works as a Make-up artist and studio hair stylist primarily in CHARLOTTE,  NEW YORK CITY , ORLANDO, and ATLANTA ....but is very happy to travel to wherever the job may be!
